Message text: &1 &2 has system target card. N, which is not allowed for intervals
The system found that the system target cardinality for &V1& &V2& was
determined as N, which is not allowed for intervals (for technical
reasons).
<zh>Note:</> The following example shows why a target cardinality of N
is not allowed.
<zh>Example:</> Purchasing organizations 0001 to 0010 are assigned to
plant 0001. Purchasing organizations 0002 to 0006 are additionally
assigned to plant 0002, and purchasing organizations 0007 to 0009 are
additionally assigned to plant 0003. The interval table would then look
as follows:
<zh>DTVAL_S_HIGH DTVAL_S_LOW DTVAL_T</>
0006 0002 0002
0009 0007 0003
0010 0001 0001
To find the related plants for purchasing organization 0005, the
program would have to read records 1 and 3. However another relevant
record might occur at any other place in the table, which means that
the table must be processed completely every time it is accessed, an
which in turn would result in serious performance issues. If, however,
there is exactly one target determination value, only a single access
is required.
Creation of intervals is not possible for &V1& &V2&.

- &1 &2 has system target card. N, which is not allowed for intervals ?The SAP error message CNV_10020307 typically occurs during data migration or conversion processes, particularly when using the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or similar tools. This error indicates that there is an issue with the target card configuration for the data being processed, specifically that the system is trying to use a target card that is not allowed for interval processing.
Cause:
The error message suggests that the system is attempting to use a target card (which represents a specific configuration or mapping for data migration) that is not compatible with the type of data being processed, particularly when dealing with intervals. This can happen due to:
- Incorrect Configuration: The target card may not be set up correctly to handle interval data.
- Data Format Issues: The data being migrated may not conform to the expected format for the target card.
- Mapping Errors: There may be a mismatch between the source data and the target card definitions.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Check Target Card Configuration:
- Review the configuration of the target card in the migration tool. Ensure that it is set up to handle interval data if that is what you are trying to migrate.
Validate Data Format:
- Ensure that the data being migrated is in the correct format and adheres to the expected structure for the target card. This may involve cleaning or transforming the data before migration.
Review Mapping Definitions:
- Check the mapping definitions between the source and target systems. Ensure that the mappings are correctly defined and that the target card is appropriate for the data being processed.
Consult Documentation:
- Refer to the SAP documentation for the specific migration tool you are using. There may be specific guidelines or requirements for handling interval data.
Seek Support:
- If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support or consulting with an SAP expert who can provide more tailored assistance based on your specific scenario.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to identify the root cause of the error and implement a solution to successfully complete your data migration.
