SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: CNV_10020 - Message class for package 10020

  • Message number: 250

  • Message text: Source package number for field &1-&2 (to be converted) is not unique

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

No unique source package number was specified for field &V1&-&V2&,
which is going to be converted. The reason for this probably is that a
multitude of source packages in which field &V1&-&V2& is converted has
been blended. This is only possible if a common routine (for example
from a higher-level package) is used. Normally, it is up to the
higher-level routine to take care of any required determination and
    delimitation.

    System Response

Assignment of a determination path is possible only if the source
package number is unique. For field &V1&-&V2&, determination is
switched off by the org. package.

    How to fix this error?

Normally, no action is required at this point. If you do want to store
a determination by the org. package for field &V1&-&V2&, you first have
to specify a source package number, then revoke the decision to switch
off the determination, and re-assign a determination. Note that from
this point onwards any existing delimitation refers exactly to this
    source package.
<zh>CWB context:</> You can find the possible source package number and
their assignment to the main source package numbers for your package
    &V3& by running transaction CNV_10030_SCENARIO.

        • Ensuring that each entry has a unique identifier or package number.

      • If the duplicates are valid and necessary, you may need to adjust the mapping or transformation logic in your data migration tool to handle these cases appropriately.
    4. Re-run the Conversion:
