The table &V1& is marked to be processed with drop / insert technique.
The basic principle of this technique is that:
complete data is selected, converted and written back to the database
(conversion packages),
complete data is selected from the table and only the part of the data
that is not supposed to be deleted is written back to the table
(deletion packages).
Restricting selection would cause only part of the data to be selected
and therefore all other data would be lost!
