SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message number: 142

  • Message text: &1: find out if field NORDER in table &2 should be converted

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Structure information for data element NORDER was found. NORDER is used
for security transaction numbers as well as in connection with loans.
As a rule, tables in the VW name space refer to securities and tables
in the VD namespace to loans. The conversion routine CNV_20200_ORDER_NO
treats the data element NORDER as a security transaction number. If the
structure information does not refer to securities after all, this
would mean that the transaction number would be converted incorrectly!!
In this case, the conversion logic must be corrected by removing the
relevant structure information for the subsequent conversion from table
CNV_10992_TSTRUC or CNV_10994_TSTRUC entfernt or by replacing it
accordingly, for example with data element CNV_20200_NORDER_DARL.

    System Response

Structure information for data element NORDER is converted by
conversion routine CNV_20200_ORDER_NO as if it referred to a security
transaction number. This warning message is created with the aim of
alerting you to this fact so that you can check if the conversion is
    correct.

    How to fix this error?

Check if the conversion of the structure information for data element
NORDER is correct. If you find out that a modification of
CNV_10992_TSTRUC or CNV_10994_TSTRUC is required, inform the
responsible developer for the package accordingly.
