What causes this issue?

You have changed the company code of the activity by changing the plant.

System Response

A material component kept in either sales order stock or project stock
is allocated to this activity. This means that the component quantity
is tracked in the project stock for the WBS element to which the
activity is assigned. The component value is tracked in the activity.
The business areas of the activity and the WBS element must agree so
that the business area balances which the company code requires can be
created.
