    The system requires a controlling area in order to make it possible to
    display the costs for an activity. The controlling area is determined
    for activities in the network as follows:
    For general costs activities, the controlling area is determined using
    the company code to which the general costs activity in the network
    profile is assigned.
    For internally and externally processed activities, the controlling
    area is determined from the plant to which the network is allocated.

    Maintain a key for the company code on the cost detail screen for the
    general costs activity.
    Maintain a key for the plant on the activity detail screen for the
