CMS_RE061
- Real estate nos are being exhausted; contact your system administrator ?The SAP error message CMS_RE061 indicates that the real estate numbers (such as property numbers, lease numbers, etc.) in the system are being exhausted. This typically occurs when the number range for real estate objects has been fully utilized, meaning that there are no more available numbers to assign to new real estate objects.
Cause:
- Exhausted Number Range: The predefined number range for real estate objects has been completely used up.
- Configuration Issues: The number range configuration may not have been set up correctly, or it may not have been extended to accommodate more entries.

Solution:
Extend the Number Range:
- Go to the transaction code SNRO (Number Range Objects).
- Find the relevant number range object for real estate (e.g.,
RE_PROPERTY
,RE_LEASE
, etc.).- Check the current number range settings and extend the range if necessary. You can do this by adjusting the upper limit of the number range.
- Ensure that the new range does not overlap with existing numbers.
Create a New Number Range:
- If extending the existing number range is not feasible, consider creating a new number range for real estate objects.
- This can be done in the same SNRO transaction by defining a new number range object.
Check for Configuration Errors:
- Review the configuration settings in the Real Estate Management module to ensure that everything is set up correctly.
- Consult with your SAP Basis or configuration team if you are unsure about the settings.
