- Assign atleast one real estate role to the real estate ?The SAP error message CMS_RE025 indicates that a real estate object (such as a property or a lease) does not have any real estate roles assigned to it. This is a common issue in SAP Real Estate Management (RE) when trying to perform operations on real estate objects that require specific roles to be assigned.
Cause:
The error occurs because the system requires at least one real estate role to be assigned to the real estate object in order to perform certain actions. Solution:
To resolve the error, you need to assign at least one real estate role to the real estate object. Here are the steps to do this:
Access the Real Estate Object:
- Go to the transaction code for managing real estate objects (e.g.,
RE01
for real estate master data).Select the Real Estate Object:
- Enter the relevant details to find the specific real estate object that is causing the error.
Edit the Object:
- Once you have selected the object, go into edit mode.
Assign Real Estate Roles:
- Look for a section or tab related to roles or responsibilities. This may be labeled as "Roles," "Responsibilities," or something similar.
- Assign the appropriate real estate roles to the object. The roles can include various responsibilities such as property manager, tenant, owner, etc.
Save Changes:
- After assigning the roles, save your changes.
Re-attempt the Operation:
- Try to perform the operation that previously resulted in the error to see if it has been resolved.
