Message text: Changes to output var. in EMPTY grp cannot be taken into acct for output
You have changed the data of an
<DS:GLOS.AAF6DC3AD81FD311B60F0060B03C2BFF>output variant</> in the
EMPTY group. However, the EMPTY group is a template group. The data for
the output variants in this group is predefined and cannot be changed.
The system does <ZH>not</> take your changes into account if you start
output from the hit list.
Depending on how often you want to use the changes to the output
variant of the EMPTY group, proceed as follows:
If you only want to use the changed output variant for output once (for
example, for test purposes), start output from the dialog box <LS>Edit
Output Variant: Group Overview</> after you have changed the data for
the output variant in the EMPTY group.
If you want to use the changed output variant for output a number of
times, copy the output variant to another group and change it there.
Your changes are retained there once you have saved them. You can then
use the changed output variant for output as often as you wish.

CM_SUB_INFOSYS035
- Changes to output var. in EMPTY grp cannot be taken into acct for output ?The SAP error message CM_SUB_INFOSYS035 indicates that changes made to an output variable in an empty group cannot be taken into account for output. This typically occurs in the context of SAP's configuration for output management, particularly when dealing with output types, conditions, or forms.
Cause:
- Empty Group: The error suggests that the output variable is part of a group that currently has no entries or data. In SAP, output variables are often grouped together, and if the group is empty, any changes made to the output variable will not have any effect.
- Configuration Issues: There may be a misconfiguration in the output determination settings, such as missing conditions or incorrect assignment of output types to the relevant documents.
- Data Availability: The data required to trigger the output may not be available or may not meet the necessary conditions for the output to be generated.
Solution:
- Check Group Configuration: Ensure that the group to which the output variable belongs is correctly configured and contains the necessary entries. If the group is empty, you may need to populate it with the relevant data.
- Review Output Determination: Go through the output determination procedure to ensure that the output type is correctly assigned and that the conditions for triggering the output are met.
- Data Validation: Verify that the data associated with the document or transaction is complete and meets the criteria for generating the output. This may involve checking the status of the document or ensuring that all required fields are filled.
- Testing: After making the necessary changes, test the output generation process to confirm that the error no longer occurs and that the output is generated as expected.
