Message type: E = Error
Message class: CM_REPORT_GEN - Report Generation
Message number: 101
Message text: The report template for variant &1 does not contain any spec. symbols
The report is not created. If you simulate the report from the template
from within the specification hit list, the report cannot be displayed.
Use a suitable generation variant. The generation variant must have the
application object SUBMASTER.
If the specification symbols were inserted in the report template after
the assignment to the generation variant, the application object
SUBMASTER may be missing in the generation variant. Open the relevant
report template and check and save it. During this activity, the
transaction CG2B (Edit Generation Variant) must not be open. After you
save the report template, the application object SUBMASTER should now be
entered in the generation variant.
Another cause of the error could be a faulty definition of the report
symbol groups 00 and 01. In the IMG activity
<DS:SIMG.EHS_SR_230_10_5>Specify Report Symbol Groups</>, check whether
the report application SUBMASTER is assigned to the report symbol groups
00 and 01.
