Message class: CLBW - Classification and BW
Message number: 004
Message text: No key field found for creation of DataSource
During generation of a classification or configuration DataSource, only
those key fields for the object table (field "Obj.Tabelle") that are
already present in the basis DataSource transferred to the extract
structure. This is the case when none of the key fields of the
object table were found in the structure of the basis DataSource.
A DataSource cannot be created without key fields. The action was
cancelled.
Check whether you have selected the correct basis DataSource and
object table. For more information, please see SAP Note 569849.

This typically occurs when you are trying to create a DataSource in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and the system cannot identify a unique key field in the underlying data structure (like a table or view) that is necessary for the DataSource to function correctly.
Causes:
- Missing Key Field: The underlying table or view does not have a primary key or unique identifier defined.

- Data Structure Changes: Changes in the underlying data structure (like renaming or removing fields) may have led to the absence of key fields.
Solutions:
Check Underlying Data Structure:
- Verify that the underlying table or view has a primary key defined. If not, you may need to add a unique key field to the data structure.
Define Key Fields in DataSource:
- When creating the DataSource, ensure that you explicitly define the key fields. You can do this in the DataSource definition screen.
Use a Different Data Source Type:
- If the current DataSource type does not support the structure of your data, consider using a different type that is more appropriate for your data model.
Review DataSource Settings:
- Go through the DataSource settings and ensure that all necessary fields are correctly mapped and that the DataSource is configured properly.
Consult Documentation:
