    You have selected an existing search result and want to enter different
    selection criteria for it. As different objects could be selected, the
    system will delete any search results which go further down the
    hierarchy than your current class.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to look at existing search results lower down in the
    hierarchy, do not leave the search result with function key F3. If you
    only want to see the characteristic values, you can do this in display
    mode via the menu option <LS>Extras -> Display char. values</>.
