    You have entered a large number of characteristics in a class. The
    total length of a list of these characteristics exceeds the maximum
    width of the characteristics table. The characteristics table can be up
    to 1000 characters long. Characteristics which no longer fit into the
    characteristics table are not displayed.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    On the characteristic value assignment screen, you can move the
    characteristics which are important to you to the beginning of the
    list.
