The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

A procurement alternative cannot be used in a mixing ratio or a product
cost collector if it is to be deleted. Either delete the alternative
from the mixing ratio, or set the deletion indicator in the product
cost collector.
