  • What causes this issue?

    The <DS:GLOS.cost_rollup>cost rollup</> resulted in a cost element
    containing fixed costs that cannot be assigned in
    <DS:GLOS.cost_component_structure>cost component structure</> &v2&
    because <DS:GLOS.cost_component>cost component</> &v1& was only defined
    for variable costs in Customizing.

    System Response

    The fixed costs for the <DS:GLOS.cost_element>cost element</> can be
    neither assigned nor rolled up.

    How to fix this error?

    Go into Customizing for Product Cost Controlling and do the following:

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Check the definition of cost component &v1& in cost component structure
    &v2&.
    To take the fixed costs into account, set the <LS>Fixed and variable
    costs</> indicator for the cost component.
    Check which cost elements are assigned to this cost component.
    Call up the cost element itemization for the material costed and for
    its BOM components, and check those cost elements that contain fixed
    costs.
