Go into Customizing for Product Cost Planning (cost estimate with
quantity structure) and create a costing variant for the standard cost
estimate. This costing variant must be linked to a costing type for the
standard cost estimate in which the 'Update standard price' option is
set.
This costing variant enables you to execute and save the cost estimate
again for the future posting period. The procedure for marking this
standard cost estimate for the future posting period should then be
repeated.
