    It is not possible to access the user department required because not
    all of the maintenance statuses have been entered for the plant in
    Customizing, and/or for the product type. For example, if the
    maintenance status D (product requirements planning) is missing for a
    plant, all MRP screens are deactivated for this plant.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
