- Enhancement implementation &1 (version &2) has an ambivalent type (EX/IM) ?The SAP error message CHK_ENH253 indicates that there is an issue with an enhancement implementation in your SAP system. Specifically, it states that the enhancement implementation has an "ambivalent type," which means that the implementation is defined in a way that is not clear whether it is an "exiting" (EX) or "implementing" (IM) enhancement.

- Correct the Type: If the enhancement is incorrectly categorized, you may need to change its type to either EX (exit) or IM (implementation) based on its intended use.
- Review Related Enhancements: Check if there are any related enhancements that might be causing the conflict. Ensure that there are no overlapping definitions.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation or notes related to the specific enhancement implementation for any additional guidance or known issues.
