  • What causes this issue?

You use a 'C1' released CDS View <(>&<)>1 in your MDS service for Data
Source Extension support. This CDS View is registered with Data Source
    Extension Usage 'Is Invisible' set.
When registered with 'Associations with current View', the registered
usable associations will not be considered, as for 'C1' released CDS
Views which are set to invisible, all associations are available.
When registered with 'Associations' and/or 'Projection List of
Underlying View', the associations and fields of the underlying view are
not considered for Data Source Extensions as the Data Source Alias of
the underlying view is technically not usable in the SADL syntax.
