  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

For material &V1&, a value is to be transferred to the batch selection
criteria for characteristic &V4&. However, the characteristic &V4& does
not exist in class &V2& of class type &V3& for material &V1&.

    System Response

The characteristic value assignment is ignored.
This leads to inconsistencies between SAP APO and the ERP system,
because the corresponding component in SAP APO places requirements on
this characteristic which have no equivalent in the ERP system.

    How to fix this error?

Check the characteristic propagation in SAP APO and check whether
requirements should really be propagated on characteristic &V4&.
If not, delete the corresponding characteristic propagation.
If yes, the requirements are saved in the ERP system as batch selection
criteria. In this case, incorporate the characteristic &V1& in the ERP
system in the batch class &V2& for material &V1&.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
