What causes this issue?

SAP APO has sent a purchasing document with CDP characteristic value
assignments.
The system determined a SAP_APPL release level of &V1&, but did not find
an IS-MP installation. You cannot define configuration data in
purchasing documents in these releases.

System Response

The evaluations cannot be transferred to the ERP system. The document
was posted without configuration.

How to fix this error?

If you want to work with CDP characteristics on the purchasing document
in the ERP system, you have to use Release 46C.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
