  • What causes this issue?

While attempting to create a <DS:TX.CACS_OAWL> worklist for object
assignment</>, the system has detected an error. At least one of the
configured elements of the <DS:TX.CACS_OAUI> user interface for managing
object assignments</> does not exist in the system.

    System Response

You cannot continue processing under these circumstances. Processing is
    terminated.

    How to fix this error?

In Customizing for <ZK>Incentive and Commission Management</>, check
under <ZK>Tools </>-> <ZK>Framework for Object Assignment (FOA) </> the
    generated user interfaces of the
    <DS:GLOS.E8FC5488F7258F4384A4E580506E3745>assignment type</> for the
<DS:TX.CACS_OAWLD>definition for worklist</> for which you intend to
    create a worklist.
Check that the interfaces for object and target object selection, and
those for specifying assignment parameters and (if the corresponding
setting has been made in the worklist definition) context information
have been generated. You must have specified a program name for each
field selection in the configuration of the interface definition of the
assignment type in the 'Generated Interfaces' subnode.
Make sure that all interfaces (including those for searching for objects
or target objects) exist as programs (transaction SE38).

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message CACSOA170 - Not all interfaces defined for worklist exist ?

The SAP error message CACSOA170 indicates that not all interfaces defined for a worklist exist. This error typically arises in the context of SAP's workflow or service-oriented architecture (SOA) scenarios, where specific interfaces are expected to be available for processing work items.

    Cause:

    1. Missing Interfaces: The primary cause of this error is that one or more of the interfaces that are defined in the worklist configuration are not available in the system. This could be due to:

      • Interfaces not being activated.
      • Interfaces being deleted or not properly defined in the system.
      • Incorrect configuration or mapping of the interfaces.
    2. Transport Issues: If the configuration was transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may have been issues during the transport that caused some interfaces to be missing.

    3. Authorization Issues: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary authorizations to access certain interfaces, leading to this error.

    Solution:

    1. Check Interface Definitions:

      • Go to the relevant transaction (e.g., SOAMANAGER) and check the interface definitions for the worklist.
      • Ensure that all required interfaces are correctly defined and activated.
    2. Activate Interfaces:

      • If any interfaces are inactive, activate them. This can usually be done in the SOA Manager or through the relevant configuration transactions.
    3. Review Transport Requests:

      • If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs to ensure that all necessary objects were included and successfully transported.
      • If any interfaces are missing, you may need to re-transport them.
    4. Check Authorizations:

      • Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the interfaces. This can be done by checking the user roles and authorizations in the user management transactions.
    5. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific interfaces and worklist configuration for any additional troubleshooting steps or known issues.
    6. System Logs:

      • Check the system logs (transaction SLG1) for any additional error messages or warnings that might provide more context about the issue.

    Related Information:

    • SAP Notes: Search for relevant SAP Notes in the SAP Support Portal that might address this specific error or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
