  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The decision table has returned a fixed amount as result. Either you
have not maintained the formula for the object type, or you have not
maintained the formula result in the tool level parameter of the
    <ZK>Valuation</> or <ZK>Remuneration</> object type.

    System Response

The system uses the result data object of the formula to determine the
field to which the result of the decision table is copied in the
corresponding meta document. The system cannot execute the formula if
the result of the decision table is a fixed amount.

    How to fix this error?

Ensure that the result of the formula has been maintained in the tool
level parameter for the <ZK>Valuation</> or <ZK>Remuneration</> object
    type.
If the decision table continues to return a fixed amount, create a dummy
formula whose result is the field to which the result of the decision
    table is copied.
You maintain both the decision table name and the formula name in the
tool level parameter of the object type (<ZK>Valuation</> or
    <ZK>Remuneration</>).
The decision table determines a rate (%) which is used in the formula.
The result of the formula is the result of the entire process.
The order of processing is as follows:
    Decision table
Formula (the result of the decision table is used)
You can also customize the decision table in such a way that it returns
an amount as the final result, instead of a rate. In this case, the
system does not execute the formula. However, the result of the formula
is used to determine the field to which the result of the decision table
    is copied.
    <ZH>Example </>
The result of the decision table is EUR 1000. However, you do not know
to which field the result must to be copied in the meta document.
In this case, even though the formula will not be executed, you must
create a dummy formula, for example<(>,<)>
    XYZ = 10 * 20.
This indicates that you expect the result of the formula to be XYZ.
Therefore, you copy the amount (EUR 1000) to the field XYZ.
