There are two possible reasons for this:
Decision tree has not been released.
Decision tree has not been assigned.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
In the Customizing activity, <DS:SIMG.TTEC_DT>Define Tax Event
Determination</> (<ZK>Cross-Application Components -> Transaction Tax
Engine -> Tax Maintenance Settings -> Tax Determination and Calculation
-> Define Tax Event Determination)</>, call up the decision tree and
choose <ZK>Decision Tree -> Release</>.
Note: Only a released decision tree can be used for tax event
determination. Even if the <ZK>Valid-From</> and <ZK>Valid-To</> dates
are in the past, only a released decision tree can be used.
Assign the decision tree as described in in the sub-activity <ZK>Assign
Decision Tree</> contained in <DS:SIMG.TTEVCL_TXCALC>Assign Tax Event
Determination and Calculation Rules</> (<ZK>Cross-Application
