The system cannot carry out batch determination or batch check for the
process instruction you have selected for one of the following reasons:
No values have been assigned to the characteristics for the reservation
number and reservation item in the process instruction.
The process instruction does not contain the characteristic for the
material quantity.
The material quantity has been defined as an input value in the process
instruction. However, the value has not yet been entered in the PI
sheet.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check the PI sheet on whether you have entered the required material
quantity in the process instruction.
If not, add the missing value.
