- A totals row (&2) cannot refer to a cost element group -> ?The SAP error message BWOM2013 indicates that there is an issue with a totals row in a report or query that is trying to reference a cost element group, which is not allowed in the context of the operation you are performing. This error typically arises in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP CO (Controlling) when working with queries or reports that involve cost elements.
Cause:
- Invalid Reference: The totals row is attempting to aggregate or summarize data based on a cost element group, which is not supported in the current configuration or context.
- Configuration Issues: The query or report may not be properly configured to handle cost element groups, or the data model may not support such references.
- Data Model Limitations: The underlying data model may not allow for the aggregation of data in the way that the totals row is attempting to do.
Solution:
- Check Query Configuration: Review the configuration of the query or report to ensure that the totals row is set up correctly. Make sure that it is referencing valid cost elements rather than groups.
- Modify Totals Row: If the totals row is incorrectly set to reference a cost element group, modify it to reference individual cost elements instead.

- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for guidance on how to properly configure totals rows and understand the limitations regarding cost element groups.
