Message type: E = Error
Message class: BTFR_MESS - Messages for BTFR Text Administration
Message number: 123
Message text: There is no TADIR entry for texts in package &1 in original system &2
There is one TADIR entry for OTR texts in a package:
R3TR SOTR <Package name> for short texts
R3TR SOTS <Package name> for long texts
The TADIR entry is created when the first text in a package is created.
If no TADIR entry exists in any system, the entry firstly has to be
created in the original system (of the package).
There is still no TADIR entry, even in the original system, for the
texts in the current package.
The function is canceled.
First, create a TADIR entry for the texts in the original system, for
example, by creating any text for the current package.
You can then create TADIR entries in non-original systems as well.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- There is no TADIR entry for texts in package &1 in original system &2 ?The SAP error message BTFR_MESS123 indicates that there is no TADIR entry for texts in a specific package in the original system. This error typically arises during transport operations when the system is unable to find the necessary metadata for the texts associated with a particular package.
Cause:
- Missing TADIR Entry: The TADIR table contains entries that define the transport objects in SAP. If there is no entry for the texts in the specified package, it means that the system cannot find the relevant transport information.

- Transport Layer Issues: There may be issues with the transport layer configuration that prevent the system from recognizing the texts.
Solution:
- Check TADIR Entries: Use transaction SE11 to check the TADIR table for the relevant entries. Ensure that there is a valid entry for the texts in the specified package and original system.
- Recreate Missing Entries: If the TADIR entry is missing, you may need to recreate it. This can involve creating a new transport request and including the necessary objects.
- Transport Request: If the texts were recently created or modified, ensure that they are included in a transport request. Use transaction SE09 or SE10 to manage transport requests.
- Check Package Assignment: Verify that the texts are correctly assigned to the appropriate package. You can do this in transaction SE80 or SE11.
- Transport Directory Consistency: Ensure that the transport directory is consistent and that all necessary entries are present. You may need to consult with your Basis team for assistance.
- Consult SAP Notes: Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant notes or patches that may address this specific error.
