BS_SOA_COMMON060
- A message is missing for sequencing object &1 and context &2 ?The SAP error message BS_SOA_COMMON060 indicates that there is a missing message for a sequencing object and context in the SAP system. This error typically arises in scenarios involving the SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or SAP Business Process Management (BPM) where message sequencing is crucial for the proper execution of processes.
Cause:
- Missing Configuration: The error often occurs when the configuration for the sequencing object is incomplete or missing. This could be due to a misconfiguration in the process model or the absence of necessary message definitions.
- Incorrect Context: The context specified in the error message may not match any existing context in the system, leading to the inability to find the corresponding message.
- Transport Issues: If the configuration or message definitions were transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may have been issues during the transport process that resulted in missing objects.
- Versioning Issues: If there are multiple versions of a process or message, the system may be looking for a message in a version that does not exist.
Solution:
- Check Configuration: Review the configuration of the sequencing object and ensure that all necessary messages are defined and correctly linked to the context. This includes checking the process model and any associated message mappings.
- Validate Context: Ensure that the context specified in the error message is valid and exists in the system. If it does not, you may need to create it or adjust the process to use a valid context.
- Transport Validation: If the issue arose after a transport, verify that all necessary objects were included in the transport request. You may need to re-transport missing objects or manually create them in the target system.
- Check for Updates: Ensure that your SAP system is up to date with the latest patches and updates, as this may resolve known issues related to message sequencing.
- Debugging: If the issue persists, consider enabling debugging or logging to gather more information about the context in which the error occurs. This can help identify the specific missing message or configuration.
