Message number: 144
Message text: Condition on &1, results row suppression active for &2
An output condition is active for the characteristic &V1&, and the
property <ZK>Suppress Result Lines</> is active for &V2&. This generally
leads to a confusing output list.
As soon as an output condition is defined for a characteristic (here
&V1&), the system calculates the relevant result lines and applies the
output condition. If such a result line is deleted by the condition, all
the subordinate detail and result lines are suppressed. The &V1& lines
are then left out because the result lines for &V2& are suppressed.
In extreme cases, this can result in a completely empty line being
displayed, although when the condition is deactivated, the individual
lines or columns should be let through by the condition.
Check the settings for the query, in particular the suppression of the
results line and the output conditions.
You can deactivate this message Brain 144 by using transaction RSRT1.

BRAIN144
- Condition on &1, results row suppression active for &2 ?The SAP error message BRAIN144 indicates that there is a condition on a specific characteristic (denoted as &1) that is causing the suppression of results for a particular query or report (denoted as &2). This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when certain conditions are set that limit the visibility of data in reports.
Cause:
- Condition Settings: The error is often caused by conditions that have been defined in the query. These conditions may filter out certain data based on specific criteria, leading to the suppression of results.
- Data Availability: If the data for the specified characteristic is not available or does not meet the defined conditions, the system will suppress the results.
- Query Design: The design of the query itself may include settings that lead to the suppression of rows when certain conditions are not met.
Solution:
- Review Query Conditions: Check the conditions defined in the query. Ensure that they are set correctly and that they align with the data you expect to see.
- Adjust Filters: If the conditions are too restrictive, consider adjusting them to allow for a broader range of data to be displayed.
- Data Check: Verify that the data exists for the characteristic in question. If there is no data available, you may need to load or update the data in the InfoProvider.
- Query Designer: Use the Query Designer to analyze the query and see how the conditions are applied. You can test different scenarios to see how they affect the results.
- Suppress Results Setting: If you want to see all results regardless of conditions, you may need to change the settings related to result suppression in the query properties.
