SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: BRAIN -

  • Message number: 054

  • Message text: Formula &1 with attribute &2 cannot be properly calculated

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The formula or calculated key figure &V1& uses formula variable &V2&.
You want to replace this variable from the attribute (or key) of
characteristic &V3&. You are expecting reference characteristic &V3& to
replace the variable and calculate the complete formula <ZH>before</> it
    starts the aggregation process.
As the formula takes basic key figures with aggregations that differ in
terms of &V3&, this is unfortunately not possible.

    System Response

The query is generated in such a way that relevant sub-formulas are
calculated <ZH>after</> aggregation using &V3&. Variable &V2& is then
aggregated with aggregation 'NOP' for characteristic &V3&. This is why
the result is not what you expect.

    How to fix this error?

Try to split the formula into sub-formulas, so that the system is able
to process the formula as you want it to.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
