Message class: BA - Data Archiving
Message number: 338
Message text: Name of archiving object &1 contains '/' or '\'
The name of the archiving object &V1& you want to create contains the
characters '\' or '/'.
This message is merely informational. You can still create the archiving
object.
Check whether the characters '/' or '\' are really necessary for the
name of the archiving object you want to create. If you are dealing with
namespace prefixes, remember that the name of archiving objects may not
be more than 10 characters long. Therefore, if the namespace has the
maximum number of characters allowed (10 including both '/' characters),
you can create only one archiving object in this namespace. We recommend
that you only use namespaces with a maximum of 9 characters (including
both ' /' signs) for your archiving objects. For more information see
SAP Notes 951230 and 625081.
