Message text: Reload data in exceptional circumstances only
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Reloading archived data is not usually necessary because:
It is possible to evaluate archived data.
The Archive Information System (SAP AS) is available.
Direct access to data objects using the Archive Development Kit (ADK)
is possible.
However, if you have to reload data to the database, it is important to
distinguish between two cases:
You have to reload the data shortly after archiving because the
selection critera for the archiving program were incorrect. This is the
only case in which the reloading of archived data is recommended.
However, depending on the archiving object, it may not be possible to
restore all data.
If you want to reload data after a longer period because you want to
use it again, you must ensure the following: All data relating to the
reloaded data must be available in the database or you must restore or
reload this data before you can reload the actual data that you
require. Since, in this case, there is not a real error, SAP advises
you strongly against reloading.
Read the documentation for the relevant application before you reload
archived data. Reloading between releases is not permitted. SAP cannot
accept any responsiblity for errors that arise in this context.

This message is a warning that indicates that the system is preventing a data reload due to potential issues that could arise from reloading data in a non-standard situation.

- Data Integrity Concerns: The system may detect that reloading data could compromise the integrity of the data model or lead to inconsistencies.
- Existing Data: There may already be data present in the target InfoProvider, and the system is configured to prevent overwriting this data unless absolutely necessary.
- Process Chain Issues: If the data load is part of a process chain, there may be dependencies or other processes that could be affected by a reload.
- Configuration Settings: The settings in the data loading process may be configured to restrict reloading under certain conditions.
Solution:
- Evaluate the Need for Reload: Before proceeding with a reload, assess whether it is truly necessary. If the data is accurate and up-to-date, a reload may not be needed.
- Check Data Integrity: Ensure that the data integrity will not be compromised by the reload. This may involve checking for dependencies or related data that could be affected.
- Use Exception Handling: If you determine that a reload is necessary, you may need to override the system's restrictions. This can often be done through specific settings in the data loading process or by using transaction codes that allow for exception handling.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific data loading process you are using. There may be specific guidelines or best practices for handling this error.
