What causes this issue?
The depreciation area is assigned to the same currency type
as the controlling area, but the company code settings for the
depreciation area do not have the same currency as the controlling
area.System Response
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Check your Customizing settings.
