  • What causes this issue?

    Inject modules (see table TARCHENGINE03) are registered for this
    archiving scenario.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

    This is no longer allowed as of SAP Netweaver 7.00. As of this release,
    the Business View Platform is no longer based on push technology
    (registration of inject modules), but uses the pull approach. In this
    context, pull means that the application logic can proactively take
    table entries from the archive using access methods.

    How to fix this error?

    Remove these registered inject modules manually from table TARCHENGINE03
    using transaction SE16.
    The display transaction can access archived data using an interface in
    dialog processing (above the database layer).
    To do so, use the methods from class CL_AR_ACCESS_FACTORY.
