Message text: Period cannot be shortened for BOR type &1 and document type &2
You want to set a new expiration date on an existing resource with an
expiration date, thus shortening the retention period. Presumably you
have changed an existing rule, so that the retention period is now
shortened. It is not possible to shorten existing periods.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The expiration date of the existing resource of the processing BOR type
and document type was not changed. Thus the original expiration date is
kept.
Check the retention rule for the BOR type and the document type.
If you want to set shorter periods for new resources not yet stored
which belong to the BOR type and the document type, you should use a
suitable selection to ensure that resources already entered are not
selected again. Otherwise, this will only have a negative effect on the
running times.
