  • What causes this issue?

    You activated hierarchy level coloring.

    System Response

    The fields of the data source were colored according to their
    hierarchical order (nodes of the logical database).

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    The color sequence in the list / tree is
    red red
    yellow yellow
    green green
    violet gray
    light blue blue
    The sequence then repeats with colored background.
    This should make it easier to find fields with the same hierarchy level
    in order to create hierarchical lists with multiple lines.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to create a hierarchical list, position the fields in
    different lines of the list according to your hierarchical level.
    If you choose the hierarchy button again, the later list is displayed
    again in color.
    The hierarchical coloring is canceled after a defined number of further
    input steps.
