  • What causes this issue?

    You want to create a program position in the enterprise organization,
    and to assign this program position to organizational unit &v1& at the
    same time. However, the system could not determine a valid relationship
    period for the assignment to organizational unit &v1&.
    The following conditions have to be met in order for the relationship
    period to be valid:
    Organizational unit &v1& has to exist during the entire relationship
    period.
    The program position has to exist during the entire relationship
    period.
    The assignment of controlling area &v2&, which was set for
    organizational unit &v1&, has to exist for the entire releationship
    period.
    In the current situation, the system could not find a common time
    interval that meets all of these criteria.

    System Response

    Since it is not possible to assign the new program position to
    organizational unit &v1&, the program position cannot be created in the
    enterprise organization.

    How to fix this error?

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
