Message text: Column &1 is fixed and will be ignored (Fit to Table Width is active)
In the <LS>General Settings </>panel, the flag <LS>Fit to Table Width
</>is activated. This means all columns are rendered with a relative
width meaning that all the available space on the screen is used.
In such a case, the attribute <LS>Position of Fixed Column</> in FLUID
does not have an effect. This is not a problem since the user may change
the setting <LS>Fit to Table Width</> using the <LS>Personalization
</>dialog box.

APB_FPM_CORE380
- Column &1 is fixed and will be ignored (Fit to Table Width is active) ?The SAP error message APB_FPM_CORE380 indicates that a column in a Floorplan Manager (FPM) application is set as a fixed column, and the "Fit to Table Width" feature is active. This means that the fixed column will not be resized or adjusted when the table width is being fit to the available space, and as a result, it will be ignored in the layout adjustments.
Cause:
- Fixed Column Setting: The column in question is defined as a fixed column in the FPM configuration. Fixed columns are intended to remain at a constant width regardless of the overall table width.
- Fit to Table Width Active: The "Fit to Table Width" option is enabled, which attempts to adjust the widths of the other columns to fit the overall width of the table. However, fixed columns cannot be resized, leading to this warning.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can consider the following options:
Disable Fit to Table Width:
- If the fixed column is essential and you want to keep it as is, you can disable the "Fit to Table Width" option in the FPM configuration. This will allow the fixed column to maintain its width without being ignored.
Change Column Settings:
- If the fixed column does not need to be fixed, you can change its properties in the FPM configuration to make it a regular column. This will allow it to be resized along with the other columns when "Fit to Table Width" is active.
Adjust Layout:
- Review the overall layout of your FPM application. If you have multiple fixed columns, consider whether you can reduce the number of fixed columns or adjust their widths to better fit the overall design.
