    The business area is a required field according to the field selection
    of the appropriation request.

    System Response

    You have to make the required entry for the business area.

    How to fix this error?

    Do one of the following:
    Enter a business area. Use the entry help for assistance.
    Enter the requesting cost center. The profit center and the business
    area are automatically adopted from the cost center.
    If the profit center or business area are required fields, then you can
    only choose cost centers in which this data has been entered.
    Change the control for the requesting business area field so that it is
    not a required field.
    Note:
    When the business area is adopted from the cost center, it does not
    necessarily make sense to make both fields required entry fields.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
