What causes this issue?

No entry for the device, register and period you have specified was
found that can be used to determine the conversion factor.
It is likely that the gas date and the normal meter reading date are
too far apart. In this particular case, the month to which the program
refers back (which is derived from the gas month of previous billing)
is too far in front of the from-date of the earliest time slice of the
current billing.
Important: If the weighted average of the conversion factor is
calculated by means of degree day weighting, the gas month must not be
more than one month before the meter reading date.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check the gas date setting, in particular in scheduling. You can find
the gas date in scheduling once the meter reading results have been
entered.
Billings and orders that have already been processed with an
impermissible gas month may need to be reversed and processed again.
If neither of the above are the case, the problem may be due to an
internal error. If this is the case, contact SAP.
