  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system tried to lock a material (used by you) for the availability
check. An error has occurred in SAP lock management: Either there
has been a communication problem with the enqueue server, or there has
been an internal system error, or the SAP lock table has overflowed.
The lock attempt was therefore not successful.

    System Response

To avoid delaying your work any longer, the system has ended the lock
attempt and has not, therefore, been able to perform the availability
    check for this item.

    How to fix this error?

<ZH>The system could not determine any confirmed quantities for the
item you processed (new).</> For that reason, you should perform a
    new availability check for it.
You should also be aware that the failed lock attempt
can also have an effect on the
availability check of other items or on other users
up until the saving of the document,
because too much or too little is reserved.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
