Message text: Filter & is inconsistent due to an incorrect transport
Filter definitions were transported that are not permitted because
dependent data from evaluations already exists. If the filter has the
status <ZH>inconsistent</>, it cannot be used in the application. You
cannot use any change functions for the filter in this status. The
<ZK>Reset</> function is the only exception. However, the changes to
the filter that are permitted do depend on the filter category.
You can no longer change filters of the categories <ZH>dynamic selection
</> or <ZH>filter group</> once single records for a procedure for
single records exist for these filters. You can change only the
assignment to an authorization group and the description. If you change
the filter definition, the <ZH>inconsistent </>status is set and you
cannot start the procedure for single records for this filter.
Portfolio hierarchies exist that are assigned to the filter of the
category <ZK>Filter for Portfolio Hierarchies</>. There are saved
evaluation results for at least one of these portfolio hierarchies. You
can make limited changes to the filter. After the current incorrect
adjustment of the filter selections, base portfolios (segments) would be
omitted from the selection variant of the old filter. As a result, nodes
would be deleted from the assigned portfolio hierarchies. This is not
permitted.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The following adjustments to the filter selections are permitted, evenAdjust the incorrect filter selections using one of the following
actions:
- Transport the correct version of the filter definitions
- Use <ZK>Reset</> in the maintenance transaction of the filter. This
reloads the filter definitions that were last valid.

The SAP error message AFWCH_FL053 indicates that there is an inconsistency in a filter due to an incorrect transport. This typically occurs in the context of SAP's Application Framework, particularly when dealing with filters in the context of data transport between different systems (e.g., from development to quality assurance or production).
Cause: Transport Issues: The error often arises when a transport request that includes filter definitions is not correctly imported into the target system. This can happen if: The transport request is incomplete. The transport request is missing dependencies. The filter definitions were modified in the source system after the transport was created. Inconsistent Data: If the filter is referencing objects (like tables, fields, or other filters) that do not exist or have been changed in the target system, it can lead to inconsistencies. Version Mismatch: If the filter was created or modified in a different version of the application or system, it may not be compatible
