  • What causes this issue?

You are trying to post a goods movement with reference to a document,
for example a purchase order or a reservation, via transaction MIGO. At
least one of the MIGO items contains a subitem created by the A&D
MPN interchangeabiity functionality. The reference document has to be
updated in the background with a new material number during the posting
operation. In some cases (for example: during the posting of a good
receipt (GR) for a purchase order), the new separate task is used for
updating the background reference document. However, due to various
technical reasons, either the creation of the separate task may fail or
the receipt of results from the separate task may fail. These technical
    reasons are:
    - system failure: a system crash occurs on the receiving side
    - communication failure: there is a connection or communication problem
during the creation of the new task
    - resource failure: there are not enough technical resources to create
    the new task
