What causes this issue?

A material exchange is performed. Before that, some equipment master
data were changed from &SYST-MSGV1& to &SYST-MSGV2&.

System Response

Material number change is not allowed and changing serial number is not
recommended.

How to fix this error?

You have the following options for correcting the error:
Use the
<DS:TRAN.IQ02>master data transaction</> to undo the change to the
serial number.
The new serial number &SYST-MSGV3& is assigned instead of the old one in
the object list of the respective
<DS:TX.ADEC_SUB_PUR_DOC_ITEM>A&D subcontracting purchase order</> item.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
