What causes this issue?

This is because of one of the following reasons.
1. Control Key selected does not have externally processed operations.
2. Control Key selected have externally processed operations but service
flag is also marked.
The system should only permit the subcontracting indicator to be set if
an external processing operation that does not also have the service
process flag is involved.

System Response

The system does not allow further processing unless subcontracting flag
is unmarked or control key is changed.

How to fix this error?

Select the control key for which subcontracting is allowed

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
