Message text: Table &: Active version partially active
The table cannot be activated because the previously active version
of the table has an inconsistent status. These inconsistencies must
be eliminated before the table is reactivated.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If the table already has a revised version, this must first be deleted
('Reset' function). Then the activation process should be started again
for the inconsistent active version of the table. The activation log
will show whether the activation attempt is successful. If the
activation attempt fails, the causes will be given. These causes must
be eliminated. It will not be possible to modify the table any
further until the active version is consistent.

- Table &: Active version partially active ?The SAP error message "AD593 Table &: Active version partially active" typically indicates an issue with the active version of a table in the SAP system. This error can occur in various contexts, such as during data updates, table maintenance, or when trying to activate a transport request.
Cause:
- Partial Activation: The error suggests that the active version of the table is not fully activated. This can happen if there was an interruption during the activation process, such as a system crash or a manual interruption.
- Transport Issues: If the table was transported from one system to another, and the transport did not complete successfully, it may lead to this error.
- Inconsistent Data: There may be inconsistencies in the data or structure of the table that prevent it from being fully activated.
- Missing Dependencies: The table may have dependencies on other objects that are not activated or are in an inconsistent state.
Solution:
- Reactivation: Try to reactivate the table. You can do this by going to the Data Dictionary (SE11) and attempting to activate the table again. This may resolve the issue if the activation was interrupted.
- Check Transport Logs: If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs for any errors or warnings that may indicate what went wrong during the transport process.
- Consistency Check: Use transaction SE14 (Database Utility) to check the consistency of the table. This tool can help identify and fix inconsistencies in the database.
- Review Dependencies: Ensure that all dependent objects (like domains, data elements, etc.) are activated and consistent. If any dependencies are missing or inconsistent, resolve those issues first.
- Database Table Maintenance: If the issue persists, you may need to perform database maintenance. This could involve deleting the active version and re-creating it, but this should be done with caution and ideally in a development or test environment first.
- Consult SAP Notes: Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error message or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
