  • With relationship type CLAS, you should always specify the name of the
    classifying field from the check table and its possible (classifying)
    value. The division of the entity into subentities is not clear unless
    both attributes are specified (relationship type CLAS).

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Example:
    Classification of documents into purchasing and sales document classes,
    where one document cannot belong to both classes at the same time. A
    classifying field is the document type which clearly indicates the
    class to which a document belongs. Possible values for the classifying
    field (document type) are 'E' (purchasing document) and 'V' (sales
    document).
