  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message ACE_S4132 - Change the start and end life dates to make an overlap between &1 with &2 ?
The SAP error message ACE_S4132 indicates that there is an issue with the life dates of two objects (typically related to master data, such as personnel or organizational units) that are being compared or processed. The message suggests that the start and end life dates of the two objects do not overlap, which is a requirement for the operation you are trying to perform.

Cause: The error occurs when: The start date of the first object (&1) is after the end date of the second object (&2). The end date of the first object is before the start date of the second object. There is a logical inconsistency in the date ranges that prevents them from overlapping.
