  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to create or change data manually in the Accrual Engine.

    System Response

The system settings in the Accrual Engine do not allow you to change
data manually in the Accrual Engine for application component &V1&.
The reason for this is that data in the Accrual Engine can be changed
as a result of processes in the calling application. Manually changing
data in the Accrual Engine could lead to inconsistency between data in
the calling application and data in the Accrual Engine.
    Example:
Data in the Accrual Engine cannot be changed manually for component SOA
("Provisions for Employee Awards") as the data is updated by data
transfer from the HR system to the Accrual Engine.

    How to fix this error?

If, however, you still want to change data in the Accrual Engine, set
the flag "Manual Changing/Creation of Data Allowed" for component &V1&
in the Accrual Engine system settings (view V_TACECOMP) .
This change to the system setting is a modification. You should only
carry out this modification if you are certain that the intended data
changes will not lead to inconsistencies.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
