Message class: ACC_AA - Message Class for Function Group ACC_AA
Message number: 316
Message text: Chart of depr. &1: Source area &2/ target area &3 have diff. group assets
One of the two depreciation areas manages group assets, the other has
<ZH>none</>.
It is mandatory when implementing a new accounting principle that the
depreciation areas match - even with regard to the management of group
assets. This is the only way to ensure that the data can be posted again
1:1 in the target depreciation area, and that reconciliation between the
two accounting principles is possible (for example, with financial
statements, profit and loss statement, and asset history sheet).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Check the settings for the source and target depreciation area in
Customizing for <LS>Asset Accounting</> under
<DS:SIMG.ORFA_KOMPLEX.0D898E4FE4626657E10000000A428C91>Define
Depreciation Areas for Group Assets</>.
Make sure that the target depreciation area has the same settings with
regard to group assets as the source depreciation area.
